Day 1
Arrival transfers from the airport to the hotel in San Jose where you will spend the first night Overnight at the Bougainvillea Hotel.

Day 2
Departure to the Central Pacific
This morning after breakfast and some birding at the hotel's garden we will depart to the Central Pacific area, on the road we will stop at some spots to look for certain species that we know could be found around this area, After checking in, lunch and a short break at the hotel we will visit Carara National park. Overnight at Villa Lapas Hotel.

Day 3
Departure to the South Pacific
This day before departing to our next destination we will take a boat ride on the Tarcoles river where we will be looking for different water birds species, after this we will depart to the south pacific region and get to the Dominical area to spend a night at La Cusinga Lodge. Overnight at la Cusinga Lodge.

Day 4
Departure to Osa Peninsula
After breakfast, there will be time to explore the hotel surroundings, before we depart to the Osa Peninsula our next destination where we will stay for the next three nights. Overnight at Rio Tigre Lodge.

Day 5
Full day at the Rio Tigre Lodge
This area is known as one with the highest biodiversity in the world, therefore birding is outstanding, here we will have the chance to see the biggest number of species. Overnight at Rio Tigre Lodge.
Day 6
Full day at the Osa Peninsula area
This day we will leave the lodge and drive for a few kilometers to look for new and specialized species. Overnight at Rio Tigre Lodge.
Day 7
Early departure to Savegre Lodge
This day our final destination is the Cerro de La Muerte area where we will stay at the Savegre Lodge, This is one of the best locations to observe the Resplendent Quetzal almost all year around.

Day 8
Departure to Rancho Naturalista
This morning we will take an early hike to look for the Quetzal and other birds from this special eco-system.
After lunch we will depart to the Turrialba area to spend our last two nights of our Expedition.
Overnight at Rancho Naturalista.
Day 9
Full day at Rancho Naturalista
We will spend this whole day birding at the hotel and surroundings where we will have the opportunity to find our last special birds.

Day 10
Transfer back to the airport
This day we will drive about 2 and half hours to go to the International Airport , on the way we will shortly visit the Braulio Carrillo National Park area.
